This place is my share house’s go-to Indian joint and they never disappoint. Delivery’s super fast and the veg curries are great. The hot versions will melt your face off though, so white people be warned. Great feed

After years of frustration with various Indian restaurants serving up very inconsistent food, I’ve ordered from Yarra Indian 10 times (yay, free meal!) and every single delivery has been on time and incredibly delicious. I’ve done a lot of travel throughout southern India and this is the real deal. And yes, if you order hot – expect HOT, which I love... I am surprised by the mixed reviews, though the dishes we order are typically chicken and not lamb. Serves you right you little lamb eaters!! 😉

By far the best curry house I have come across in a long time. The recipes are spot on. I have lived in South Yarra for a bit over a year & tried most of the local spots and was disappointed most of the time. The Yarra gets it right. Also fast & friendly service. Can’t be beat.

Okay, I order from ML all the time but this is the first time I have been motivated to write a review! Really great vegan options, delicious, rich flavors which can be hard to achieve with veggie/ vegan options! Ordered $30 of food and the servings were SUPER generous, will probably last me for the rest of the week. Can’t attest to the speed, as I pre-ordered, but they came at the exact time I specified. Much love 🙂

I’m very satisfied with this restaurant, we got huge portion sizes and the food was great! Delivered quickly too. I think I got a beef curry instead of a lamb Vindaloo though only downside, but it was still really good food. We will definitely order again
